January 30, 2019 entry into force of the decision of the Chamber of Patent Disputes under the trademark “SIBZAVOD”

On January 30, 2019, the decision of the Board of the Chamber on patent disputes over the SIBZAVOD trademark, registration No. 647164, entered into force. A competitor tried to challenge the registration of a trademark by submitting an objection to the Chamber of Patent Disputes against its legal protection. The rightholder of the trademark together with the patent attorneys of the patent agency PATENTA proved the inconsistency of the arguments set forth in the objection. At the board meeting held on November 29, 2017, with the participation of patent attorneys of our agency defending the interests of the copyright holder, the objection was denied, the legal protection of the trademark according to certificate No. 647164 was upheld.
